Data used to deliver and protect the site

The site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare Pages. To serve pages reliably and protect them from abuse, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as your IP address, the date, time, and requested resource, browser and device information, referring origin, and security or network-error diagnostics.

Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may be processed outside Switzerland. Its handling, safeguards, and retention depend on the service and configuration. Cookies, analytics, and embedded content

The authored site uses no analytics, advertising, marketing tracking, embedded third-party media, contact forms, or non-essential cookies. When Cloudflare performs a security check, it may set a necessary cf_clearance cookie to record the result and avoid repeating the check. It is used for security, not advertising or analytics.

Email and external links

An email link opens your own email application. If you write to me, I process the contact details and message you provide to respond and to handle the related academic or professional matter. Correspondence is retained only as long as needed for that purpose or associated legal and professional record-keeping obligations.

Links to publications, profiles, software, and other external websites contact those providers only after you follow the link. Their own privacy notices and terms then apply.
